Women’s Golf Completes First Round At Union Fall Invitational

DeSilva paces Brewers in Round One

Schenectady, NY – The Vassar College Women's Golf team returned to the course on Saturday for the First Round of the Union Fall Invitational. Sophomore Iesha DeSilva (Dayton, MD) paced the Brewers on Saturday with Vassar posting a team score of 391.

For The Brewers

DeSilva made her way around the par-73 course at the Mohawk Golf Club with a 90, good for 10^th place overall.
Classmate Sophia Calvillo (Long Beach, CA) finished the day in a tie for 13^th place after carding a 92 for the Brewers. Calvillo's round featured a birdie on the par-5 eleventh hole.
Katrina Wu (Great Neck, NY) finished the day in the 20^th position.
First Year Lili Proctor (Evanston, IL) closed the day in the 22^nd position for the Brewers.

What's Next

Vassar closes play in the two-day event on Sunday with team times beginning at 11:00 a.m.
