Rome, NY – The Vassar College Women's Golf team completed the 2025-26 season Saturday with a sixth-place finish at the Liberty League Championship, posting a two-round score of 757. Sophomore
Iesha DeSilva (Dayton, MD) led the Brewers with a 20
th-place finish.
NYU won the league title after finishing the two-day event with a score of 582 (+14), finishing 21 strokes clear of Wellesley's score of 603. Rounding out the seven-team field were Ithaca (651), Union (670), St. Lawrence (733), Vassar (757) and William Smith (868). NYU's Jiayi Fu won the individual crown by a single stroke after finishing three-over par with a two-round score of 145.
For The Brewers
- DeSilva led the way for Vassar with a 20th-place finish overall on the par-71 course at the Teugega Country Club. DeSilva finished the championship with a score of 180 after carding a 94 on Saturday.
- Junior Olivia Pocat (Saratoga, CA) tied for the 21st position with a score of 182 and also finished Saturday's round in 94 strokes.
- Katrina Wu (Great Neck, NY) closed her career in 25th-place on Saturday with a total score of 192. Wu shaved four strokes off of her first-round score, finishing Saturday's round with a 94.
- First Year Lili Proctor (Evanston, IL) ranked 28th on the leaderboard after finishing the championship with a score of 203. Proctor improved her first-round score of 113 by 23 strokes and had the low round of the day for the Brewers with a 90.
