Cortland, NY – The Vassar College Women's Golf team rounded out play at the Cortland Martin/Wallace Invitational on Sunday in sixth-place with a two-round score of 765. The Brewers shaved three strokes off their first-round score with a 381 on Sunday with
Iesha DeSilva (Dayton, MD) tying for 18
th-place.
Ithaca won the event with a score of 642 and was followed by Cortland (680), Union (680), St. Lawrence (705), St. John Fisher (725), Vassar (765), Nazareth (813), Utica (866), Albertus Magnus (872) and William Smith (902).
DeSilva, who carded a 90 in Saturday's first round on the par-72 course at the Cortland Country Club, finished Sunday's second round in 91 strokes to finish the tournament with a total score of 181, good for a tie for 18
th-place in a field of 49 golfers.
Olivia Pocat (Saratoga, CA) carded a 92 on Sunday to finish the event with a score of 182 and tied for 20
th-place.
Katrina Wu (Great Neck, NY) finished the weekend with a score of 194 after finishing in 98 strokes on Sunday and placing 28

Lili Proctor (Evanston, IL) improved Saturday's score by eight strokes on Sunday, totaling a score of 208, good for 34
th-place.
Ithaca's Annelise Stencel shot a 75 on Sunday and won individual medalist honors with a two-round score of 153, one stroke clear of Union's Iyene Essien.
Vassar opens play at the 2026 Liberty League Championship on May 1.
