A Look At The Brewers
- In the past, the Brewers have matched up against very tough competition at the Sacred Heart Traditional Multi-Meet, their last win at the event was posted in 2012 against Army and Yeshiva Universities. This year, VC is coming off of two huge wins a the Matt Lampell Invite and the Vassar Invitational, where they competed where they saw 14 teams and only lost to Stevens Institute of Technology, so have a huge amount of momentum coming into the weekend.
- Senior captain Elam Coalson (River Forest, IL/Oak Park & River Forest) celebrated his senior day at the Matt Lampell tournament by going 28W-2L on the day in sabre.
- Saberist Eli Polston (Silver Spring, MD/Einstein) had the same record at Matt Lampell, posting a 28W-2L day in sabre and a 4W-0L day switching to epee.
- Sophomore foil fencer Tom Racek (Clark's Summit, PA/Abington Heights) also shined at the Matt Lampell Invite hosted in the Walker Field House, going 34W-2L on the day.
- The sabre squad overall had a great day of competition at Matt Lampell, dominating with a 104W-22L squad total.
- The epee team had three members earn 10 or more wins the past two weekends in a row. Junior captain Ry Farley (Pasadena, CA/Waverly School) led the epeeists with 31 wins, followed closely by sophomore Jonathan Alperstein (Fishkill, NY/John Jay) who added 29.
- Every Vassar squad had a great showing during the Matt Lampell Invite, totaling 344 bouts won and only 88 losses.

A Look At The Sacred Heart Traditional Multi-Meet
- The Pioneer men will be hosting the Invitational and the Brewers will meet the fencing teams from Harvard University, Sacred Heart University, Penn State University, New York University, Princeton University, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology on the strip.
- The toughest competition of the day will likely come from Penn State's team - ranked No. 2 in the country in the final College360.com Fencing Polls in March of last year. Also, Harvard was ranked No. 6 with Princeton coming in at No. 8.
- In 2014, the Brewers went 0-4 at the Sacred Heart Traditional Multi-Meet.
