Poughkeepsie, NY – The Vassar College Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams have each been honored as Fall Scholar All-American teams it was announced by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). To be honored, teams were required to produce a grade point average of a 3.0 or higher during the 2025 Fall Semester.
In total, the CSCAA honored 709 teams representing 414 institutions across Divisions I, II and III as well as NAIA and junior college. The CSCAA recognized 16,421 student-athletes for their performance both in the pool and in the classroom.
The Vassar Men's team produced a 3.71 grade point average during the fall semester, marking the highest mark among the six Liberty League teams that received the honor. Nationally, the Brewers were tied for the 10th best grade point average among qualifying institutions.
On the Women's side, the Brewers posted a sterling 3.81 grade point average during the fall semester, ranking second among Liberty League schools. On the national stage, Vassar produced the sixth highest grade point average among schools honored by the CSCAA.
"The academic commitment demonstrated by these teams is exceptional," said Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA. "These student-athletes continue to set a standard for excellence by succeeding at the highest level both in the pool and in the classroom, and the CSCAA is proud to recognize their dedication and achievement."

"Their success reflects the strength of collegiate swimming and diving as a sport that develops leaders in the classroom, in competition, and beyond."
