Richmond, VA – Both the Vassar College Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams picked up a second academic award from The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for 2025-26 academic year with Spring Scholar All-American Team distinction. To be recognized as a Scholar All-American team, squads must produce a team GPA of 3.0 or better.
The spring honor comes on the heels of a Fall Scholar All-American team citation earlier this season. The Brewers are part of 714 teams, covering 418 institutions, that were honored by the CSCAA this spring. In total the organization has recognized 16,680 student-athletes over all three NCAA Divisions.
Vassar put together another strong season both in the pool and in the classroom in 2025-26. The Men's team produced a spring grade point average of 3.78 which led all qualifying Liberty League schools and ranked in a tie for the seventh highest GPA nationally.
The Brewers' women's team posted a 3.76 team GPA in the spring, also leading the Liberty League while marking the 14th highest grade point average nationally.
"This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment these student-athletes make to excellence both in the classroom and in competition," said CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany.
"The 714 teams honored this spring represent the very best of collegiate swimming and diving, demonstrating that academic success and athletic achievement go hand in hand. We congratulate every student-athlete, coach, and institution recognized."
