Greenwood, IN – The Vassar College Women's Swimming and Diving team featured four student-athletes who were honored with College Sports Communicators Academic All-District accolades.
Lara Chebotarev (East Longmeadow, MA),
Anna Little (Irwin, PA),
Abigail McLaughlin (Denver, CO) and
Addie Wiener (Maplewood, NJ) were recognized for their hard work both in the pool and in the classroom.
Chebotarev, a sophomore Urban Studies major, put together a strong season for the Brewers. A selection to the Liberty League All-Academic Team, Chebotarev posted a top-10 finish for the Brewers in the 100-yard breaststroke at the 2025 Liberty League Championship in a time of 1:08.42. Chebotarev closed a strong championship meet for Vassar with a 12
th-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke and a 19
th-place showing in the 200-yard individual medley.
Little, a sophomore English major and member of the Liberty League All-Academic Team, also put together a standout 2024-25 season for Vassar. Little posted a trio of top-10 finishes at the 2025 Liberty League Championship, highlighted by a runner-up finish in the 400-yard individual medley in a season-best time of 4:39.46. Little also posted a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke and a seventh-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke for the Brewers at the championship meet.
McLaughlin, a Political Science major and selection to the Liberty League All-Academic Team, put together a strong campaign for the Brewers. McLaughlin also posted a trio of top-10 finished for Vassar at the Liberty League Championship. McLaughlin swam to a fifth-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle for the Brewers and added a seventh-place swim in the 100-yard freestyle and a 10
th-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle at the Championship.
Wiener, a junior Biology major and Liberty League All-Academic team pick, continued a standout career for the Brewers in 2024-25. Wiener won the 500-yard freestyle at the Liberty League Championship for the third straight year in 2025 and added a fourth-place swim in the 1,650-yard freestyle for the Brewers. Closing out a standout championship meet, Wiener swam a season-best time in the 200-yard freestyle on the way to a sixth-place finish.
Vassar closed out the 2025 Liberty League Championship with 675 points, good for fifth-place.
