Greenwood, IN – The Vassar College Women's Swimming and Diving team saw four senior standouts honored for excellence both in the pool and in the classroom it was revealed Tuesday afternoon.
Quinn Hoagland (Colts Neck, NJ),
Abigail McLaughlin (Denver, CO),
Stephanie Norris (Santa Barbara, CA) and
Addie Wiener (Maplewood, NJ) were all recognized with College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.
Wiener, a senior Biology major, earns Academic All-District honors for the third straight year and also earned a spot on the Liberty League All-Academic Team. Wiener's season was highlighted by a fourth straight Liberty League title in the 500-yard freestyle with the senior also adding a runner-up finish in the 200-yard freestyle and a third-place showing in the 1,650-yard freestyleat the league championship meet. Wiener also swam as part of the 400-yard medley and 800-yard freestyle relay teams that placed fourth at the Liberty League Championship.
Hoagland, a senior Art History major, is an Academic All-District selection for the second straight year and also landed on the 2026 Liberty League All-Academic Team. Hoagland swam to a fourth-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle and a seventh-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle at the Liberty League Championship. Hoagland also was part of the fourth-place 400-yard medley and 800-yard freestyle relay squads at the league championship.
McLaughlin, A Political Science and Economics major, is also a two-time Academic All-District selection and member of the Liberty League All-Academic Team. McLaughlin had a strong league championship meet as well for the Brewers that featured an eighth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle, a 14
th-place showing in the 50-yard freestyle and a 15
th-place swim in the 100-yard freestyle. McLaughlin was also a member of the 400-yard medley relay team that swam to a fourth-place finish at the Liberty League Championship.
Norris, a Biology major and member of the Liberty League All-Academic Team, earns Academic All-District recognition for the first time in her career. Norris' Liberty League Championship was highlighted by a 15
th-place swim in the 100-yard butterfly and also featured an 18
th-place showing in the 200-yard individual medley and a 20
th-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Vassar concluded the dual meet portion of the 2025-26 season with a 5-4 record and finished fifth at the Liberty League Championship.
