Greenwood, IN – The Vassar College Men's Swimming and Diving team had four student-athletes recognized for their work in the classroom on Tuesday with
Hayden Ehrenfeld (Long Beach, CA),
Alex Graber (Harrison, NY),
James Hatch (Los Altos, CA) and
Tyler Tsukuda (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) earning College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.
Ehrenfeld, a Political Science major at Vassar, put together a strong senior season for the Brewers. A selection to the Liberty League All-Academic Team, Ehrenfeld was part of four relay teams that set school records at the 2025 Liberty League Championship. Individually, Ehrenfeld swam a school record time of 21.07 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle at the Liberty League Championship meet.
Graber, a sophomore Biology major and selection to the Liberty League All-Academic team, split his time between the pool and the 1-meter diving board for the Brewers this season. In the pool, Graber swam a lifetime best time of 4:22.94 in the 400-yard individual medley and a season-best time of 17:56.56 in the 1,650-yard freestyle at the Liberty League Championship meet. Off the 1-meter board, Graber posted a season-best score of 208.95 at the Liberty League Championship.
Hatch, a Cognitive Science major and 2025 selection to the Liberty League All-Academic Team, put together a strong junior season for the Brewers. Hatch posted a 19
th-place finish for the Brewers in the 100-yard backstroke for the Brewers, posting a time of 1:00.67 at the 2025 Liberty League Championship.
Tsukuda, A Neuroscience and Behavior major and member of the Liberty League All-Academic team, closed out a standout career in 2024-25. Tsukuda swam to a time of 2:08.49 in the 200-yard butterfly at the 2025 Liberty League Championship.
Vassar finished the 2025 Liberty League Championship in sixth-place with a total of 564 points.
