Ithaca, NY – The Vassar College Women's Swimming and Diving team finished the second day of competition at the 2025 Liberty League Championship in fifth-place with a total of 286 points. Sophomore
Anna Little (Irwin, PA) posted the team's best finish of the evening with a runner-up finish in the 400-yard individual medley.
Through the second day of events, Ithaca leads the women's meet with 801 points and is followed by RPI (719), RIT (554), Skidmore (380), Vassar (286), Clarkson (209.5), St. Lawrence (200.5), Union (185), William Smith (156) and Bard (36).
For The Brewers
- After qualifying second in the 400-yard individual medley, Little took the runner-up position in Thursday's final with a season-best time of 4:39.46.
- Coming off a victory in the 500-yard freestyle on Wednesday, junior Addie Wiener (Maplewood, NJ) swam to a season-best time of 1:54.58 in the 200-yard freestyle on Thursday, good for sixth-place overall.
- Vivien Li (Pittsburgh, PA) had a standout swim for the Brewers in the 100-yard butterfly, touching out in a lifetime best time of 58.06 seconds which was good for 10th-place.
- Abigail McLaughlin (Denver, CO) swam to a 10th-place finish for Vassar in the 200-yard freestyle, posting a season-best time of 1:57.10.
- Quinn Hoagland (Colts Neck, NJ) came home 11th in the 200-yard freestyle, also swimming a season-best time of 1:58.10.
- Junior Stephanie Norris (Santa Barbara, CA) picked up a 17th-place finish for the Brewers on Thursday in the 100-yard butterfly, posting a season-best time of 1:01.10.
- In the final event of the evening, the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Maya Luongo (Katonah, NY), Hoagland, Wiener and McLaughlin placed fourth in a time of 1:37.65, a season-best effort.
