Swimming And Diving Opens Liberty League Championship On Wednesday

Four-day event commences Wednesday morning

Poughkeepsie, NY – The Vassar College Swimming and Diving programs open the 2025 Liberty League Championship on Wednesday at Ithaca. The four-day event will feature preliminary sessions at 10:00 a.m. and finals at 6:00 p.m. each day.

Admission

Spectator gallery will open at 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., respectively, for each preliminary and finals session.
Gallery will be closed between afternoon diving sessions and 5 p.m.
All Session passes will be available for $40 per person and $20 for children.
Single session tickets will be sold during each finals session.
Single session passes will be sold for $10 per person and half price for children under 12.

Heats And Results

Hard copy heat sheets will be available for $1 and will be limited in supply.
Heat sheets and results be also be available via Meet Mobile.

Vassar Men At A Glance

Vassar finished the dual meet portion of the schedule with 3-5 record.
The Brewers won each of their last two dual meet decisions, swimming past Division II Pace and Union.
Vassar closed out the regular season as the runner-up at the Skidmore Sprint Invitational on February 1.
The Brewers had four swimmers earn Liberty League weekly honors heading into the Championship with Mike Seaton (Hoboken, NJ), Andrew Song (Wellesley, MA), Logan Seiss (Downingtown, PA) and John Gao (Ann Arbor, MI) all claiming Rookie of the Week Awards.

Vassar Women At A Glance

The Brewers posted a 4-5 record in nine dual meets during the 2024-25 regular season.
Vassar opened the season with victories against Bard and Brandeis, adding triumphs over Mount Holyoke and Union.
In their final test before the Liberty League Championship, the Brewers finished third at the Skidmore Sprint Invitational.

Preliminarily swims will begin at 10:00 a.m. each morning with the finals session each day beginning at 6:00 p.m.
