Women's Fencing Duels with NYU and Columbia at George Kolombatovich Meet

Brewers head to the EWFC Championships at Drew University on Sunday

New York, NY - The Vassar College Women's Fencing team traveled to New York City on Wednesday evening for the George Kolombatovich Historical Meet where the Brewers battled against Columbia and NYU.

Epee - NYU 6 VC 3
- Sophomore Katrina Zeng earned two victories along with senior Naomi Hirsch scoring a win.
- Senior Danielle Golden dueled in three bouts.
Foil - NYU 9 VC 0
- Sophomore Zoe North, senior Nicole Ezell and first year Sushama Gadiyaram competed in three bouts each.
Sabre - NYU 9 VC 0
- First year Lily Paine, junior Abigail Geiger and senior Kira Wheeler each battled in three bouts.

Epee - COL 7 VC 2
- Senior Addy Xie and sophomore Nika Ungurianu scored a win each while Zeng competed in three bouts.
Foil - COL 8 VC 1
- North secured a win while first year Kelsey Wang and Ezell each battled in three bouts.

- Paine and Geiger tallied a victory each while Wheeler fenced in three bouts.
