MANAHAWKIN, NJ - The Vassar College Field Hockey team was honored on Wednesday afternoon as 13 student-athletes that were named to the prestigious 2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad.
The NFHCA proudly recognizes more than 1880 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from more than 150 institutions on the 2024 Division III National Academic Squad.
Sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, the NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
Mount Holyoke College led with 25 selections, while both Haverford College and Middlebury College each landed 24 student-athletes on the list.
Impressively, 310 honorees earned this distinction for the fourth consecutive year.

Three prestigious Division III academic awards are yet to be unveiled — the NFHCA Scholars of Distinction will be announced on February 14, the NFHCA National Academic Team awards on February 18, and concluding with the announcement of the National Scholar-Athlete on February 20.
