Brewers Post Third-Place Finish At Skidmore Sprint Invite

Brewers victorious in seven events on Saturday

Saratoga Springs, NY – In its final tune-up before the 2025 Liberty League Championship, the Vassar College Women's Swimming and Diving team posted a third-place finish with 346 points on Saturday at the Skidmore Sprint Invitational. The Brewers won seven events in the meet, including three from Addie Wiener (Maplewood, NJ).

Wiener won a trio of freestyle events for Vassar in Saturday, taking the top spot in the 500-yard (5:23.55), 100-yard (56.61) and 200-yard (2:02.35) races.
Senior Maya Luongo (Katonah, NY) also turned in a strong meet, placing first in the 50-yard freestyle (25.39) and second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:04.26).
Anna Little (Irwin, PA) bested the field in a pair of events on Saturday, touching out first in the 400-yard individual medley (4:52.72) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.58). Little also turned in a third-place finish in the 50-yard breaststroke (33.17).
Quinn Hoagland (Colts Neck, NJ) swam to a runner-up finish in the 500-yard freestyle (5:27.14), adding a third-place showing in the 100-yard freestyle (57.33) and a fourth-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (26.59).
Vivien Li (Pittsburgh, PA) scored a pair of runner-up finishes on Saturday, taking second in the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.31) and the 50-yard butterfly (27.98). Li rounded out a strong day with a third-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.52).
Sophomore Lara Chebotarev (East Longmeadow, MA) was the runner-up in the 100-yard individual medley (1:06.46) and posted third-place finishes in the 50-yard breaststroke (33.21) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:13.40).
Stephanie Norris (Santa Barbara, CA) came home fifth in the 100-yard butterfly (1:06.89) and took ninth-place in the 100-yard individual medley (1:09.81).
First Year Eva D'Addario (Baltimore, MD) swam to a seventh-place finish on Saturday in the 100-yard butterfly (1:07.86) and a 10^th-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:20.92).
Sophie Tran (Hillsborough, NJ) finished seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:19.71).
Tia Spivey (Gate City, VA) took the eighth position in the 500-yard freestyle (5:55.48).
Hunter Harris (East Thetford, VT) claimed the 10^th position in the 100-yard butterfly (1:20.78).
In 1-meter diving, Ella Maniatis (Lafayette, CA) had a strong showing for the Brewers. Maniatis' first career appearance produced a score of 110.55.
Vassar won the final event of the day with the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Wiener, Hoagland, Norris and Luongo swimming a winning time of 1:46.01.
To open the meet the team of Li, Chebotarev, Little and Luongo posted a third-place swim in the 200-yard medley relay race.
