POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (January 24, 2018) – Coming off one of the best weekends of swimming in recent years for the Vassar College women's swimming & diving team, the Brewers will get right back to action on Saturday afternoon with a home meet against Pace University in action from Kresge Pool.

Last Time Out: Vassar chalked up 14 victories over the weekend at the Seven Sisters Championships, including four individual wins by freshman

Shannon Schrope picked up two wins, taking both breaststroke events, while Vassar had two relay victories as well.
A Look At The Brewers (5-2):
- The Brewers come into the meet Saturday after posting 59 seasonal bests at the Seven Sisters meet, including 28 personal best times.
- Vassar saw 10 swimmers set their season-best in the 50 this past weekend, with Brynn Lautenbacher pacing VC on the season with a 25.38.
- Junior Sammy Stone has posted Vassar's top 200 free time this season at a 1:57.30, which sits inside the top 10 in the Liberty League.
- Stone (5:14.59) and fellow junior Kael Ragnini (5:15.46) are 1-2 in the Vassar top times listing in the 500 free, while freshman Angharad Healey is third with a 5:16.45.
- Rhea Randhawa got under the minute mark in the 100 backstroke at the Seven Sisters meet to set a new team season best with a 59.36, while her 2:06.35 is the 50th best time this season in Division III.
- Freshman Shannon Schrope comes into the weekend with the nation's 19th best time in the 100 breast, while junior teammate Hayley Schultz is 38th in the nation with her season-best of 1:06.24.
- Both Schrope (30th, 2:23.98) and Schultz (45th, 2:25.73) are ranked in the top 50 times in the NCAA 200 breaststroke list.
- Randhawa is just three second behind the "B" cut time in the 400 IM, as she has a 4:35.28 in the event from this past weekend's meet.
- The 1077.5 points from Vassar at the Seven Sisters Championships was a program record at the annual meet.
A Look At The Setters (7-1):
- Pace University is having a strong season thus far, with its only loss in dual meets to Bentley University. Since then, Pace has knocked off Franklin Pierce University and The College of St. Rose.
- Jana Ciric is the team's top option at the 100 and 200 freestyle events, while Madison Kiefer leads the performance lists for PU in the 500 and 1000 free swims.
- Annie Keppel-Palmer has a season-best of 59.79 in the 100 back this season, while her 200 back time of 2:08.79 is also the squad's best.
- Leigha Kosakowski has been strong in the backstroke, while her 100 breast time leads the Setters after posting a 1:09.29.
- Cassandra Muldoon established a 2:34.91 for the best time in the 200 breaststroke for Pace.
- Keppel-Palmer and Marta Hasny are the team's best butterfly swimmers, as Hasny leads the squad with a 1:01.49 in the 100 fly and Keppel-Palmer paces the Setters with a 2:13.07.
- Keppel-Palmer also has the team's top times in both the 200 IM (2:11.37) and 400 IM (4:39.17).
- Alexis Heiney and Sophia Howard will look to earn points on the boards for the Setters.
- Vassar is 1-2 against Pace University since the 2009-10 season, as Vassar knocked off PU in 2009-10 with a score of 174-118.
