Brandon DeStasio all scored, but not until after the Camels jumped out to an 8-0 lead. Parson's first goal came in the final 30 seconds of the second quarter, Moriarty's came at the 4:09 mark of the third and DeStasio's also came in the third, with 30 seconds to go. DeStasio picked up six of the Brewers' 19 ground balls, and
Brandon Klein has continued to be solid on defense with three ground balls and a team-high three forced turnovers in the contest.
A Look at the Wesleyan Cardinals (1-1, 0-0 NESCAC)The Cardinals most recently surged past the Roger Williams University Hawks, 13-7, on Wednesday, thanks to a strong second half at home. Wesleyan held a 7-6 lead at the break before outscoring Roger Williams 6-1 in the second. Taylor Ghesquiere led Wesleyan with three goals, while Christian Barker and Quentin DellaFera added two apiece. Ten different Cardinals found the back of the net, as Ted Bergman made 11 saves between the posts. Wesleyan held a 41-27 lead in ground balls and won 16-of-24 face-offs in the victory. The Cardinals will go head-to-head with the Hamilton College Continentals on Saturday, March 12 before facing the Brewers on Tuesday.
The Cardinals finished their 2015 campaign with a 9-7 overall and 6-4 in-conference record, earning the No. 4 seed in the NESCAC Championship. The squad ranked second and third in the conference in goals against (152) and goals-against average (9.44), respectively. Wesleyan returns four of its top seven scorers. Through two games this season, DellaFera and Ghesquiere lead the team with four goals, Christian Barker leads with four assists and Jared Jacobs leads with seven ground balls. Jacobs is also 14-28 in face-offs.
New OpponentsThis will mark the first meeting between Vassar and Wesleyan in at least 10 years.
Liberty League StandingsVassar is one of four schools to notch at least two wins so far this season. Rochester Institute of Technology and St. Lawrence University are undefeated with three wins apiece, and Union College has won its past two games for a 2-1 record.

Like Takin' Candy From A BabyEric Prezioso has been aggressive on defense to average two forced turnovers per contest, which is good for third in the Liberty League. Only Keith Mierzwa (3.00) of Clarkson University and Michael Froman (2.33) of Union College average more.

Chris Billups has seven goals on just nine shots, which is good for a 77.8 shooting percentage. He has also scored both game-winners for the Brewers, and added four assists so far this year.
On Your Mark, Get Set, GO!The Brewers have been efficient on offense, putting 50 percent of their 128 shots on goal. Adversely, their opponents have put 40 percent of their 130 shots on goal.
Liam Moriarty leads with seven assists, while
Chris Billups and
Sam Houston-Read each have four.
Helping HandVassar has demonstrated unselfish play on the field. Of the Brewers 40 goals this season, 28 have been assisted. They average seven assists per game, which is good for third in the conference.
All-Time LeaderSenior captain
Noah Parson became the all-time leading scorer for the Vassar men's lacrosse team when he scored the 92
nd goal of his career on March 5. Parson's seventh goal of the season pushed him past former teammate Max Herman (class of 2014) in the record books. Parson is now only four points away from becoming the all-time leader in career points, which is currently held by Herman, who has 135 total points.
