Men’s Lacrosse Closes Season With Road Loss At #17/18 St. Lawrence; Arcuri Sets Single Season Points Record

Arcuri totals four points, sets single season points record

Canton, NY – The Vassar College Men's Lacrosse team wrapped up the 2026 season Saturday afternoon with a 22-11 road loss at #17/18 St. Lawrence. Gavin Arcuri (Westhampton, NY) led eight different players with a point with a four-point day and in the process set the program's single season points record.
 
Vassar finishes the season with a 6-9 overall record and a 1-6 mark against league rivals while St. Lawrence enters the conference tournament with an 11-5 overall record and a 5-2 regular season mark against conference opponents.
 
How It Happened
  • St. Lawrence broke the game open prior to halftime on Saturday with 15 first half goals.
  • The Saint scored the first five goals of the game, including two from Ted Wilson, on its way to a 5-1 advantage through 15 minutes of play.
  • St. Lawrence erupted for 10 goals in the second stanza, including the first five goals of the quarter that made the score 10-1.
  • Baker Morton (West Hartford, VT) stopped the second quarter run with a tally at the 5:19 mark of the frame.
  • After Ari Krane (Atherton, CA) scored with 4:40 left before halftime, St. Lawrence ripped off four straight goals to open a 15-3 lead.
  • Arcuri closed out the first half scoring with 33 seconds left in the second frame, making the score 15-4 in favor of the Saints.
  • Vassar was outshot 31-16 in the first half and the Saints held a 11-9 edge in face-offs at the intermission.
  • Coming out of halftime, Vassar got goals from Travis Heller (Lafayette, NJ) and Arcuri to cut its deficit to 15-6.
  • The Saints tallied two of the final three goals of the third frame to carry a commanding 17-7 lead into the final period.
  • St. Lawrence outscored Vassar 5-4 in the fourth quarter to finish off the 11-goal victory.
  • Anderson Eads (Brightwaters, NY), Tate Tinker (Lexington, KY), Morton and Arcuri supplied the final four goals of the season for Vassar.
  • Vassar held an 18-15 advantage in second half shots and a 10-6 edge in second half face-offs.
 
For The Brewers
  • Arcuri finished the season finale with a hat trick and four points, finishing the season as the team leader in assists with 33 and points with 58. The assist and point marks for Arcuri are both single season program records for the Brewers.
  • Tinker closed the day with two goals and three points for Vassar.
  • Eads recorded a goal and an assist, finishing the year with a team-high 34 markers.
  • Morton scored twice for Vassar and collected two groundballs.
  • Aiden Santoro (Water Mill, NY) led the team with two caused turnovers and added two groundballs.
  • Danny Holt (Rochester, MI) won 16 face-offs for the Brewers and led Vassar with 11 groundballs. Holt rounded out the day with an assist and a caused turnover.
  • Dan Bader (Forestdale, MA) forced a turnover and secured three groundballs.
  • Jess Geoghagan (Mercer Island, WA) suffered the loss in goal, making four saves in 30 minutes.
  • Andrew Timson (Babylon, NY) played the second half and stopped four shots for Vassar.
 
For The Saints
  • Wilson scored four times and finished with five points.
  • Cam Croasdaile tallied four goals.
  • Daniel Mahoney recorded five points on the strength of two goals and three assists.
  • Asa Beach, Jensen Kohler and Ceron White all scored twice.
  • Beach, David Herlihy and Jamie Rosenweig each recorded two assists.
  • JP Charpentier caused a team best two turnovers.
  • Will Abplanalp won 16 face-offs to lead the Saints.
  • Drew Knights closed the win with an assist and a team-high eight groundballs.
  • Heath Mann turned aside six shots to earn the win in goal.
