- Sabre teammate

- Sophomore foil fencer
Tom Racek (Clark's Summit, PA/Abington Heights) lost just two of his 18 bouts last Sunday in the season opener.

- The epee team had three members earn 10 or more wins this past weekend, the only squad to do so. Sophomore

Ry Farley (Pasadena, CA/Waverly School) added 13.
- Junior
Clayton Marr (Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna) went undefeated this weekend in sabre, with a 3-0 record on the day.
- Of the 20 fencers that fenced for the Brewers on Sunday, only two had records under .500 on the day.
- All three weapons dominated during the VC Invitational, combining to win 130 bouts while losing just 59.
A Look At The Matt Lampell Hudson River Invitational- The Brewer men will be hosting club teams from Marist College, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Albany, Rochester Institute of Technology, Cornell University and Drew University.
- VC's most competitive match-up of the day may come against some familiar faces, as Vassar will enter both an "A" and "B" team Sunday afternoon.
- As always with home fencing matches, the Vassar Athletics Department will broadcast strips 1-5 all day long at the link above.
- Last year, the Brewers went 5-0 at the Matt Lampell Invitational and 19-5 en route to the title. Of those 19 losses, nine came to West Point.
