The Violets also finished 6th of eight teams in the highly competitive University Athletic Association conference. NYU currently has 37 athletes on its roster, led by captains Frank Bozzi, Jerry Crowley and Matt Kendall.

Head of the Violets:
Head coach Trevor Miele enters his third season at the helm for NYU swimming programs, coming off a year where he was name the men and women's Coach of the Meet at the ECAC Championships. Trevor was a former standout for the Violets, and graduated from the University in 1999.

Last season, the two squads met for a dual meet at Kresge Pool, where the Violets came away with a 186-103 victory. Then-junior Luc Amodio (Poughkeepsie, NY/Arlington) and then-freshman Chris Cerutti (Mount Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) notched a two-three finish for the Brewers in the 100 Yard Backstroke with times of 56.22 and 59.43.
