Men's Swim-Dive Sunk By Pace 129-99

Results

PLEASANTVILLE, NY (November 19, 2010) -- The Vassar College men's swimming and diving team continues to show promise early in the season despite a 129-99 loss to Pace University on Friday night.

The Brewers (0-3) will race cross-river rival SUNY New Paltz on the road Saturday, November 20 at 1:00 p.m. The Setters (2-2-1) compete in the Bentley Invitational on December 5.

Although the results haven't rewarded the Brewers efforts, “they're swimming well for this time of the season and getting up for their races,” said head coach Lisl Prater-Lee. “We're looking forward to a shorter meet against New Paltz tomorrow.”

Last week's Liberty League Rookie of the Week, freshman Kevin Lee won the 400m IM with a time of 4:38.31.

Sophomore Nicholas Veazie finished second in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:06.89. Senior captain Alistair Hall finished 4th in the event in 2:10.29.
