Hilton, NY - The United Volleyball Conference (UVC) announced its weekly award winners for the week ending March 1 as Vassar College Men's Volleyball first year Carroll Jenkins earned his first career weekly award as the league's Co-Rookie of the Week.

Jenkins helped Vassar to its first conference victory of the season against Elmira on Saturday as the first year tallied a career-high 11 kills (.647) and a career-best six total blocks in the sweep of the Soaring Eagles. The first year is averaging 2.29 points per set as he has amassed 43 kills (.352 hitting), two aces and 15 total blocks (five solo) so far this season.

Vassar (8-7, 1-3 UVC) enters a month-long stretch on the road beginning this weekend against Drew on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m.
