South Hadley, MA - The Vassar College Men's Fencing team earned three top-five squad finishes at the NEIFC Championships this weekend, led by the epee squad of first year

Harper Jamison tallying a second place team finish. The foil and sabre squads both battled to fifth place team finishes.
Epee
- Pool Round #1
- Vassar finished as the top team in pool #2 as the Brewers scored 17 victories in the opening round.
- North was undefeated with four victories along with Weise going perfect at 7-0.
- Li secured five wins and Jamison also scored a victory.
- VC advanced to the pool of the top seven in the second round and ranked as the top team overall following the first round.
- Pool Round #2
- Vassar battled to a second place team finish following 12 victories in the final round.
- North and Weise led the way with four victories apiece while Li secured three wins.
- Jamison collected one victory in the final round.
- VC finished only behind MIT, who finished with 14 wins.
Foil
- Pool Round #1
- Vassar earned 17 victories in pool #1 to rank second in the pool, only behind Sacred Heart who finished with 19 wins.
- Senior Brady Traugot was undefeated in the opening round with seven wins while first year Alexander Gobbo and classmate Ethan Capra each scored five victories.
- The Brewers ranked fourth overall and advanced into the pool of the top seven squads for the second round.
- Pool Round #2
- Vassar finished fifth overall after winning six bouts in the second round.
- Traugot earned three more victories while Capra tallied two wins and Gobbo added one victory.
Sabre
- Pool Round #1
- Vassar led the way in pool #2 with 18 victories to earn the top spot in their pool.
- First years David Sagardi Diaz and Devan McCarthy both went a perfect 7-0 while classmate Karthik Shankar tallied four victories.
- Vassar ranked second overall to advance to the final pool of the top seven squads.
- Pool Round #2
- The Brewers finished fifth overall in the final round after collecting nine victories.
- Sagardi Diaz earned four more wins while McCarthy recorded three wins and Shankar registered two victories.
