Troy, NY – Vassar College Women's Tennis standout Erin McCusker (Norton, MA) picked up her fifth Liberty League Weekly Award of the fall it was announced Monday afternoon. Monday's Singles Performer of the Week nod, McCusker's third of the fall, adds to a list that also includes a pair of Doubles Performer of the Week citations.
 
McCusker was in action last week at the ITA Cup in Rome, GA, competing in a trio of singles matches for the Brewers. McCusker opened the event with a hard fought 6-7 (1-7), 3-6 defeat to Ruth Hill from Trinity before competing hard in a 'West' bracket defeat to Hannah Kassaie from Grinnell. McCusker wrapped up play at the tournament on Saturday, earning an impressive 7-6 (7-0), 7-6 (7-4) victory over Irene Augusti from Grinnell in the 'South' Bracket.
 
McCusker was just the fourth individual to represent Vassar at the ITA Cup and joined Sofie Shen (New York, NY) as only the third doubles pair to qualify for the event from Vassar.
