Last Time Out:
The Brewers last two games have been against the No.1 and No. 2 ranked teams in the nation: Springfield College and Stevens Institute of Technology, respectively. Their latest game, against Springfield, ended in a 0-3 loss. The scores were tight, however, as the Brewers dropped the first set 27-25. Vassar fell a little further behind in the second set, losing 25-16, but picked it up and closed the gap with a 25-19 loss in the last set. Senior Matthew Knigge led the Brewers in kills with 11. Freshmen Jefferson Waters and Ryan Duchemin  had strong games as well, with Waters adding in six kills and one block and Duchemin boasting three kills and two blocks. Zechariah Lee., a senior, led the team in aces and assists, hammering three service aces and collecting 21 assists.

A Look At The Brewers (9-5, 3-1 UVC):

• Vassar comes into the match Saturday evening with Elms College averaging 11.27 kills per set, which ranks 6th in the UVC.
• Vassar is averaging 2.70 blocks per set, which leads the UVC and is good for third in the nation.
• The season hitting percentage of .242, which is 6th in the UVC.
• So far this season, Vassar ranks 15th in Division III and fourth in the UVC in aces per set, posting 2.00 per set.
• Senior Matthew Knigge is fourth nationally and second in the UVC in blocks per set with 1.234.
• Knigge also ranks 8th in the country in kills per set, averaging 4.00. On the season, Knigge has had 188 total kills.
• Senior setter Zechariah Lee is 19th the nation in assists a game with 9.47 and 20th in the in aces per game, earning an average of .660 aces a game.
• Sophomore Ghali Khalil ranks second on the squad in kills per set with 2.50.
• Kevin Ros, also a sophomore, has earned an average of 2.38 blocks per set, which is good for second for VC.

• Elms College is coming off of a two game winning streak, with their latest victory against Lesley College.
• Their latest four wins have all been won in three sets.
• The Blazers sit second in the NECC conference behind Endicott College.
• The Cardinals rank 16th in the country in aces per set, just behind Vassar.
• Elms has earned a .258 hitting percentage so far this season, rivaling VC's .259 percentage.
• Junior setter, John Dunphy, has 343 assists on the season, aberging 7.80 assists per set, which puts him at 49th in the nation in this category.
• Blazer freshman Jeremy Torres leads Elms in kills per set with 3.58.
