  • The Brewers are winning the ground ball battle, 258-203, and the faceoff battle, 101-50, thanks in large to freshman Matthew Lowery, who has won 78 of 112 faceoffs on his way to picking up a team-best 47 ground balls.

  • Sam Houston-Read (11g, 9a), Michael Mullen (9g, 7a) and Chris Billups (9g, 1a) have also been productive on offense.
  • TK Murphy (22gb) and Gianni Gelormino (21gb, 10ct) have anchored the Brewers on defense.

  • The Brewers look to build upon their record-setting season, in which they finished 2016 with an 8-8 overall mark. The previous high in wins was six, which had been attained three times before (2015, 2014, 2009).
  • VC strung together four straight wins for the first time in program history, beating Drew University, SUNY Oneonta, Swarthmore College and Mount Saint Mary College to open the season.

A Look at the Lions (2-4):
  • The Lions are 2-4 on the year with wins over Alfred State and Immaculata and losses to Moravian, Goucher, University of New England and King's. Their most recent win came against Immaculata on Wednesday, 14-10, while their most recent loss came at King's on Saturday, 15-6. They have yet to win on the road, owning an 0-3 mark on away games.

  • Shane McCurdy, who has won 61 of 120 faceoffs, leads the team with 46 ground balls, twice as many as the next-leading person. Frazier, who has won 14 of 25 faceoffs, is second on the squad with 23 ground balls.
  • Brad DePasquale and Ryan Harris have both spent time in net. DePasquale (2-4) has made 61 saves for a 48.8 save percentage, while Harris (0-0) has made zero saves over a span of seven minutes.
  • The Lions look to build upon last season, in which they finished 9-5 overall and 5-3 in conference play.
  • Last year, Bryn Athyn fell to Morrisville State in the NEAC semifinal, 14-8.

Against Bryn Athyn All-Time: This will mark the first meeting between the two programs.
