Last Time Out: Vassar couldn't overcame a slow first half, as Bard College walked away from the Stevenson Athletic Center with a 67-56 win on Wednesday. Jesse Browne scored 13 points, while Alex Seff added 12 to round out VC's leading scorers. Owen Murray grabbed a game-best nine boards and dished out a team-high five assists, while Tony Caletti set a personal record with five steals on the night.

A Look At The Brewers (6-18):
  • Seff was named to the Liberty League Honor Roll on Monday for his performances last week. He averaged 22 points, shooting 61 percent from the floor and 63 percent (5-of-8) from distance, to help Vassar split the weekend. He followed that up with a 12-point performance against Bard on Wednesday.
  • The Brewers are shooting 43 percent from the floor and 32 percent from three, while draining an average of 7.1 triples per game. Meanwhile, opponents are shooting 47 and 39 percent, respectively, while hitting an average of 8.5 per contest.
  • Vassar has dished out an average of 13.8 assists, which is a slight edge over opponents (13.1apg)
  • The Brewers will be looking to even the series with the Engineers after falling on the road to them earlier this season. The sides split last season's series, with each team defending its home court.
  • Three Brewers are averaging double-digit scoring in Seff (16.0ppg), Browne (13.9) and Dyslin (10.6).
  • Seff also leads in steals (30), while grabbing 5.0 boards and dishing out 2.3 assists per game.
  • Browne has also been extremely multidimensional, leading the team in blocks (7), while adding 2.5 assists per game, 3.8 rebounds per game and 24 steals.
  • Murray has picked up right where he left off after recently returning to the hardwood after missing more than a month with injury. Through 15 games, the freshman leads the team with 6.1 rebounds per game, while also adding 5.1 points and 2.8 assists per game. Despite missing time on the floor, Murray is third on the team in steals with 22.
  • Big men Steve Palecki (.543), Chris Gallivan (.509) and Dyslin (.495) sport the three most efficient shooting percentages on the team.

A Look At The Engineers (12-11):
  • RPI has dropped five of its past seven, most recently falling 77-60 to Hobart College on Saturday.
  • Jonathan Luster and Tom Horvat were the only Engineers to reach double figures in the scoring column against the Statesmen, totaling 18 and 13 respective points.
  • The Engineers own a slight scoring edge over opponents, averaging 68.3 points to opponents' 67.9.
  • The Engineers are shooting 44 percent from the floor, 35 percent from deep and 69 percent from the line, while holding opponents to 43, 35 and 70 percent, respectively.
  • RPI dishes out 15.6 assists per game to opponents' 11.0 on average.
  • Four Engineers are averaging double-digit scoring in Andreas Kontopidis (16.4ppg), Horvat (14.2), Luster (13.1) and Brian Hatcher (10.0). The next leading scorer is Asa Barnhill, who averages 5.4 per game.
  • Hatcher leads the team in rebounding (6.1rpg) and blocks (19), while also adding 2.0 assists per game and 22 steals.
  • Luster leads in assists (3.2apg), while Horvat leads in steals (29).
  • Luster has been the biggest threat from distance, draining a team-leading 52 triples on a team-best 46 percent three-point shooting clip.
  • The Engineers look to improve upon their 2015-16 campaign, in which they finished 12-13 overall and 6-10 in conference play.

Against RPI All-Time: The Brewers are 9-27 against the Engineers all-time, dating back to their first meeting in 1989. Vassar has dropped the past two games, most recently falling to RPI earlier this season by a 68-58 decision.

Next Up: With the conclusion of the season, Vassar graduates three seniors in Mickey Adams, Ryan Huegel and Elijah Winston.
