What To Look For
The Brewers hope to jump back into the win column on Wednesday after dropping two weekend matchups. Prior to losses against Union College and most recently Skidmore College, Vassar took four of five games. On Saturday, the Brewers fought the Thoroughbreds in a tough battle, but were ultimately edged in overtime for a 71-69 loss.

Senior Erikson Wasyl (Durham, CT/Coginchaug) recorded his first double-double of the season, while Jesse Browne (Barrington, RI/Deerfield Academy) tallied a game-high 22 points and Paul Grinde (Virginia Beach, VA/Cape Henry Collegiate School) scored two shy of his career-high with 20 points. Wasyl and Grinde combined to score the first five points of the extra period before the teams traded baskets. But the Thoroughbreds used back-to-back layups to put themselves ahead with four seconds remaining. Neither team led by more than two possessions, as the lead swapped hands 16 times. While Vassar looks to get back to its winning ways, Bard looks to keep its momentum going, having not lost a game in the month of February.

A Look At The Bard Raptors (9-14, 6-8 Liberty League)
The Raptors will ride a three-game streak into Wednesday's midweek matchup, with wins over Rochester Institute of Technology, Hobart College and most recently Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. These three straight wins follow eight straight losses, as Bard is looking to end the season on a high note. On Feb. 9, the Raptors surged in the second half for a 63-53 win over the Engineers. Bard came out of the break to go on a 25-8 run, and RPI was never able to recover. Three Raptors scored in double figures: Harry Johnson totaled 20 points, DeVahnte Mosley chipped in with 11 and Armando Dunn finished with 10. Mosley ranks sixth in the conference with 15.6 points per game, third with a 53.2 shooting clip and 10th with six rebounds per game.

Bard holds its opponents to a League-low 39.8 percent shooting. The Raptors also hold their opponents to 70.6 percent shooting from the line, which is second-highest in the conference. Bard has averaged 5.4 three-pointer per game, which is second lowest in the conference, but it holds opponents to a League-low 29 percent clip from beyond the arc. Defensively, Bard ranks sixth with 35.4 rebounds per game, but second with 10.6 offensive rebounds per contest. Brandon Cunningham grabs 6.1 rebounds and blocks 1.3 shots per contest for seventh and third best in the League. The Raptors are also third in the conference with 6.87 steals per game.

Against Bard All-Time
Dating back to their first meeting in 1989, Vassar is 27-6 versus Bard all-time. The Raptors swept the 2014-15 season against the Brewers, winning 61-54 on Jan. 6 and 88-60 on Feb. 18. Earlier this year, Vassar knocked off Bard in Annandale-on-Hudson behind six threes from Erikson Wasyl.

From The Stripe
In seven of their past nine games, the Brewers have scored more from the charity stripe than their opponents.

Line 'Em Up
Vassar holds its opponents to 66.6 percent shooting from the foul line, which is good for third lowest in the Liberty League.

Glass Cleaners
The Brewers hold the third best rebounding margin in the conference at 1.1. Only Skidmore (1.9) and St. Lawrence (1.8) have higher margins.

Close Competition
The Brewers have kept the competition close in many games this season, losing five games by seven points or fewer.

Race To The Finish
The Brewers come into the Wednesday's midweek matchup at fifth in the conference with a 7-7 conference record, only behind Skidmore, St. Lawrence and Union (9-5) and RIT (8-6).

On The Mark
In 10 of their past 13 games, the Brewers have shot more efficiently from deep compared to their opponents.

Home Cooking
The Brewers have been very strong at home, averaging 72.9 points per game on their home rims, as four players average in double figures in games in Poughkeepsie.

Seff Standing Out
Alex Seff (Arlington, VA/ Washington-Lee) has continued to grow over the course of the season. The freshman guard scored in double figures in four of the past five games. In that span, he scored a career-high 18 points against RIT on Feb. 6 and posted his first collegiate double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds against Union on Feb. 12.

Top 10
Two Brewers are within the Top 10 of the Liberty League's scoring list: Erikson Wasyl (eighth, 15.4 points per game) and Jesse Browne (ninth, 15.3) earned the honors as Vassar's top two scorers. Browne and Wasyl are also sixth and eighth in the conference with respective 44.2 and 43.3 field-goal percentages.

Sharpshooters
Jesse Browne and Erikson Wasyl shoot 40.9 and 40.6 percent from deep for third and fourth best in the conference, respectively.

Iron Men
Two Brewers have been earning valuable minutes to lead the Liberty League. Erikson Wasyl ranks first with 35.7 minutes per game, while Jesse Browne is right behind him with 35.2.

Durable Defense
Freshman Paul Grinde has been holding it down for the Brewers on the defensive end. The center's one block and 7.5 rebounds per game are good for fourth-best in the conference.

History Made
Paul Grinde made history Jan. 16 when he pulled down the most rebounds in Vassar College men's basketball history. The freshman grabbed 18 rebounds against Union College to surpass Alex Snyder, who collected 17 against RIT on Feb. 9, 2013.

Up Next
The Vassar men's basketball team will finish its regular season in Troy, NY when it takes on Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. The Brewers will be looking to sweep the season series, 2-0, after beating the Engineers 70-62 on Jan. 12.
