Last Time Out St. Lawrence University overcame a 3-2 first period deficit with a run of four straight to take a 6-3 lead and then blew the game open with 10 unanswered goals en route to a 20-9 Liberty League win over Vassar on April 4.
A Look at the Rangers (2-7, 0-4 Landmark) Drew has struggled this season, holding a 2-7 record and sitting at the bottom of the Landmark Conference standings at 0-4. Despite getting off to a 0-5 start, the Rangers have gone 2-2 over the past four games including a 16-7 win over the Liberty League's Bard College on March 25. Tuesday's game will be the last non-conference game of the season for Drew, which will end the year with three consecutive Landmark Conference matchups.
Drew's man-up unit has been one of the most efficient in the country this season, ranking 27
th in nation and first in the Landmark in extra man offense (41.4%). Freshman Harry Rice has been a welcome addition to the Ranger attack this season, scoring a team-best 21 goals while adding two assists. Junior Steven Cola leads the Rangers in assists with 12 while chipping in six goals. Freshman Joe Palmieri has led the way on the faceoff for the Rangers, holding a team best .487 winning percentage on restarts. Sophomore Teddy Sweeney has seen the bulk of the minutes in goal for Drew, starting all nine games while holding a .545 save percentage and 9.73 GAA.
Against Drew All-TimeVassar and Drew have met just three times in the all-time series between the schools, with two of the matchups being played the past two seasons. The Rangers hold a 2-1 advantage in the head-to-head series, but VC earned its first-ever win over Drew last season on April 8 in a tight 9-8 triumph at Weinberg Field.
Extra-Man Improvement After starting the year 4-24 on man-up opportunities, the Vassar special teams unit has settled in scoring nine goals on 16 opportunities the past four games. Sophomore
Chris Billups (Watchung, NJ/Oratory Preparatory) leads the team with five man-up goals this season.

Liam Moriarty (New Fairfield, CT/New Fairfield) has a seven-game point streak scoring currently in progress, and has notched a hat trick in four of those games.
Noah Parson had a seven-game goal and point streak snapped against Skidmore, while sophomore
Brandon DeStasio also saw his seven-game point streak end against the Thoroughbreds. Senior
Scott Brekne has a 17-game ground ball streak dating back to March 29 of last season, scooping up at least one in every game since then.
Mr. 300Senior
Scott Brekne made history against Mt. St. Mary (NY), winning his 300
th career faceoff at Vassar. Brekne has been highly effective for the Brewers at the restart this season, winning 43-64 for a .672 faceoff percentage.
Brekne is also closing in on 300 career ground balls, entering Tuesday's game with 296 career GBs in the burgundy and gray.

Noah Parson is now fifth all-time at Vassar in both career points (104) and goals (74) heading into Tuesday's game. Parson sits behind Kevin Krieser ('01) on the all-time points list (112) and on the all-time goals (76) list. Brekne is now seventh all-time in career points with 90, and also occupies the No. 9 spot in career goals (55).
Parson is also inching toward the school record in man-up goals, coming into Tuesday's matchup with 12 in his career. He now sits just one extra-man goal behind Jack Gross ('12), who finished his Brewer career with a program-record 13 man-up goals. Vassar is currently 4-0 this season when scoring a man-up goal.
Down the Stretch Vassar will play what will be undoubtedly its most challenging stretch of the season over the next few weeks, facing three nationally ranked teams in a span of eight days. The Brewers will face No. 2 RIT on April 11, then will host No. 8 Williams and No. 12 Union in back-to-back games. VC will wrap p conference play on April 25 on the road vs. Clarkson.
Up NextVassar will return to Liberty League play this weekend to face No. 2 Rochester Institute of Technology on the road in Rochester, NY.
