Game Coverage: (Live Stats) (Live Video)What To Look ForThe Brewers will look to ride their momentum from last Tuesday's win into Wednesday's tilt with the Bantams, but Trinity is also playing well having won its last three games. Vassar College will also have to contend with Wednesday being the home opener for Trinity, so a hostile crowd could be in the cards for VC. It will be important for the Brewers to take good shots, control tempo and make free throws, as Trinity is allowing 28 free throws on average per game.
A matchup to watch will be Vassar freshman
Paul Grinde (Virginia Beach, VA/Cape Henry Collegiate) against Trinity junior middle man Ed Ogundeko. Grinde will have a four inch size edge on Ogundeko, but the Bantam junior is averaging 14.3 points per game on 54.5 percent shooting, while pulling in 15 rebounds in each of his last two games.
A Look At The Bantams (3-1, 0-0 NESCAC)Trinity College stumbled to a 80-69 loss at Springfield College in its first game of the season on November 21, but has rebounded nicely to earn wins over Framingham State (71-60), Maine-Fort Kent (90-51) and UMass-Boston (77-54). Trinity does a very good job of holding onto the ball, as the Bantams are averaging just 11.5 turnovers per game, which currently leads the NESCAC. Trinity also makes it very difficult on opposition to score, leading the conference in points allowed per game with just 61.3, while forcing teams into 33.6 percent shooting from the floor, second-lowest in the NESCAC. The Bantams have done well on the glass, ranking second in their league in rebounding margin, grabbing 12.3 more boards per game thus far this season.
Individually the Bantams have a balanced attack on offense, led by the 14.5 points per game from senior guard Jaquann Starks. The senior is shooting 36.4 percent from downtown, as he averages 8.2 attempts from deep per game. Ogundeko combines will forwards Shay Ajayi and Eric Gendron to complete a formidable frontcourt trio that teams to average 32.7 points among the three of them nightly. Senior point guard Andrew Hurd only takes three shots per game, but hands out 5.0 assists per game, tied for the most in the NESCAC. On the glass, Ogundeko is second in the conference in rebounding with 12.0 caroms nightly, while Ajayi is also pulling in 10 a game. Trinity is coming off a season where it went 23-7, losing in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight, its best finish since the 1998-99 season.
Against Trinity (CT) All-TimeThe Bantams hold a 6-1 edge over the Brewers in the all-time series, as Vassar's lone win came back on New Year's Eve in 2013 in Hartford. Last year, Trinity knocked off VC 52-44 in the AFC.
Classic ManSenior
Erikson Wasyl is well on his way to becoming the 14
th member of the 1,000 Point Club at Vassar College, as he enters the week with 854 points for his career. With 21 games remaining, Wasyl needs to average 7.0 points per game to reach the plateau.
Solid ShootingThis year, the Brewers have been effective offensively from the floor, shooting 46.1 percent on field goals. In fact, VC has outshot its opposition in all four of its contests thus far.

Friendly ReturnAssistant coach
Michael McSloy returned to his alma mater last week at Maritime as an assistant for the Brewers. A former All-Skyline Conference performer, McSloy saw his Brewers earn a 68-61 victory over the Privateers.
