In the opening match of the day, VC fell to MIT, but got a solid performance out of its foil group, going 6-3. Senior Matt Steinschneider went 3-0, while Tre Artis posted two wins against the Engineers. Ry Farley also added a pair of wins in epee. Against Boston College, the Brewer narrowly pulled out the win, much in part to the fencing from the sabre team.

Jackson Dammann was big in epee, chalking up a perfect 3-0 record. Vassar knocked off Tufts thanks to an 8-1 record in foil and a 6-3 mark in epee. Steinschneider and Artis were each 3-0, while Dammann was 2-0 and Bobby Maiocco was 2-1 in epee.

VC struggled in the last two matches against Brandeis and Brown, but Arden added two bout victories against Brown. On the afternoon, Steinschneider was 7-6 overall, while Artis led the squad with eight bout wins. Dammann had seven wins on the day, while fellow epee fencer Farley had six wins. Arden led the sabre group with seven total victories.
