POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (September 25, 2012) – Ava Sadeghi was named the Liberty League Performer of the Week Tuesday morning and Samantha Schapiro was named to the Liberty League Honor Roll in women's tennis.

Sadeghi won her second straight Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Regional singles championship Monday at William Smith College. The championship win also marks her second year in a row making All-American in singles competition.

Sadeghi teamed with Schapiro to win the doubles championship on Monday. This is Schapiro's first All-American  honors and Sadeghi's first doubles All-American honors. This is the first year in program history that the Brewers have managed to capture both the singles and doubles championships at the ITA Northeast Regionals at the same time.

Schapiro and Sadeghi will travel to Mobile, Alabama for the ITA National Championships on October 11-14.
