The Brewers (1-4-1) compete in the Sprint Invitational at Skidmore College this Saturday, February 5 at 1:00 p.m.

Mandel finished second in the 500 freestyle in 6:10.33, fifth in the 1000 freestyle in 12:46.82, seventh in the 100 freestyle in 1:04.64, and had personal best split in her relay.

Junior diver Amelia Couture  had a record-setting day with two personal bests, taking third in the 3m event with 233 points and second in the 1m event with 208 points. Couture broke the 3-meter, six dive record of 232.12 previously held by classmate Christie Musket.

In the 100 yard breaststroke, sophomore Shannon Sara was third in 1:11.91 and freshman McKenzie Quinn placed fifth in 1:13.51.

“We're putting the pieces together and coming out with some good races,” said head coach Lisl Prater-Lee. “This was our last co-ed meet of the season until the finals and we really appreciated all the support from alums and parents even though we were on the road.”
