Michael Scarlett ran Vassar's best time in the NCAA Regionals since 2006, as he became VC's first NCAA qualifier since 2006 when he finished 11th overall at the 2017 NCAA Atlantic Regionals with a personal best time of 25:03.06. The placing was also the best finish at a regional since Colin Sanders and his eighth-place finish in 2006.
