In a narrow loss to Trinity, 160-132, on Wednesday, Smart picked up three individual and one relay win. He took home victories in the 100 Breast (1:03.14), 200 Breast (2:20.17), and 200 IM (2:06.53) and swam on the winning 200 Medley Relay team (1:44:24). In the Kumpf Invitational on Saturday, he placed second in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:16.12 and finished fourth in the 200 IM in 2:06.32.
