Becker won the No. 4 singles bracket at the New York State Championships after not giving a single set to her opponents. Becker defeated Madeline King of NYU, 6-4, 6-1 to win the bracket. After a first round bye, she topped Hamilton College's Rachel Friedman, 6-0, 6-3 and then Skidmore College's Rachel Plevinsky, 6-0, 6-3. Becker also teamed with fellow freshman Emily Hallewell in doubles play at the No. 2 bracket where they made it to the finals.
