POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - The Vassar College Department of Athletics and Physical Education is now accepting nominations for the Vassar Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2027, which will be celebrated during Reunion Weekend 2027. Nominations are now being accepted and will be open through Tuesday, September 15th, 2026.
Once the nomination period has concluded, the selection committee will deliberate to identify the class of 2027 Hall of Fame selections, who will be announced in the spring of 2027.
Nominees are being accepted in the following three categories:

Alums who have participated on an athletic team while pursuing a Vassar College degree and who have completed their college athletic career at least ten (10) years prior to the year of election.Â

College employees and/or other individuals who have made a significant contribution to Vassar athletics. College employees shall be eligible five (5) years after the date of their employment by the College has ended.Â

Teams who have brought recognition and honor to the College by their significant achievement shall be eligible ten (10) years after the date of their achievement.Â
To submit a nomination for the Class of 2027, please complete the appropriate nomination form below:
Nominate a Student-Athlete Alum (Alum-Athletes up to and including the Class of 2017)
Nominate a College Employee/Other Individual (Employees who completed their time at the College up to and including 2022)
Nominate a Team (Teams up to and including the 2016-2017 season)
Please include as much supporting information as possible with your nomination in order to enhance your candidate's chances. Any supporting letters and media clippings can be emailed to athleticcomms@vassar.edu or mailed to the Athletic Communications Office (Vassar College - 124 Raymond Ave., Box 750, Poughkeepsie, NY 12604). Â
If you previously submitted a nominee for the inaugural Hall of Fame class, you do not need to resubmit materials unless you would like to add additional information for consideration.
