Hilton, NY - The United Volleyball Conference (UVC) announced its All-Conference selections on Thursday morning as the Vassar College Men's Volleyball team saw junior middle blocker Armaan Desai earn All-UVC First Team honors along with sophomore opposite hitter Henry Bonney earn All-UVC Second Team honors.

Desai, who was named an All-UVC Honorable Mention last season, scores a First Team selection following a season that sees him ranked third in the country in blocks per set at 1.18 and is seventh nationally in solo blocks with 24 which has helped the Brewers to the nation's leading mark in blocks per set in the country at 2.56. Desai has already recorded new career-highs in kills (173), kills per set (2.34), solo blocks (26), total blocks (88), blocks per set (1.19), points (244) and points per set (3.30) this season.

Desai's 26 solo blocks ranks second all-time in a single season, trailing former All-American Matthew Knigge who finished with 29 in 2016. He also has been named the UVC Player of the Week twice this season and currently ranks sixth all-time in career solo blocks with 52 entering the UVC Championship. Desai's current hitting percentage of .422 on the season sits eighth all-time in a single season. Desai also leads the conference in hitting percentage at .422 as well as blocks per set at 1.19.

Bonney earns his first career All-Conference selection after recording career-highs in kills (195), aces (8), blocks (43) and digs (61) in 2026. Bonney has also notched career-bests in kills per set at 3.42 and is fourth in the league in hitting percentage (.352), third in kills per set (3.42) and third in points per set at 3.99. In his 15 matches played this season, Bonney buried double-digit kills in 12 matches including a career-high 21 kills against #1 Springfield.

Vassar will begin the UVC Championship on Friday evening as the fifth-seeded Brewers will take on fourth-seeded Hobart at 5:00 p.m. on the campus of SUNY New Paltz.
