MANAHAWKIN, NJ – After earning 19 student-athletes named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Squad, the Vassar College Field Hockey team had five Brewers named as 2025 NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction.

Bailey Mann each earned their first Scholar of Distinction honor of their careers and mark the most student-athletes to earn the honor since the 2021 season.
The Scholars of Distinction program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have exhibited exceptional academic excellence, achieving a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher throughout the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year. Across Division III, 543 student-athletes were recognized as NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction.
The NFHCA has already announced the 2025 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad — the NFHCA National Academic Team awards will be announced on February 17 and the National Scholar-Athlete on February 19.
