Shelton, CT – The Vassar College Women's Rowing team rounded out a strong 2024-25 season on Sunday at the Pio-Stag cup hosted by Sacred Heart. The Varsity 8 boat led the way for the Brewers with a third-place finish.
Competing on the Lower Housatonic River, Sunday's event featured a slight incoming tide and a tail wind building to eight miles per hour.

The Brewers had a pair of entries on Sunday in the B/C 4 race with the 'A' boat placing third in a field of six boats and the 'B; boat placing fifth. The 'A' entry of Laurens, Brawley, Zumbolo, Nally and coxswain
Sofia DeRose (Hoboken, NJ) turned in a time of 8:45, while the 'B' boat of
Lily Littrell (Milwaukee, WI),
Lyndon Briggs (Lexington, NC), Blomquist and Meyers along with coxswain Frazier finished in a time of 9:07.1.
