Philadelphia, PA - Sophomore Haley Schoenegge improved her Division III best 1500 meters time by almost eight seconds at the illustrious Penn Relays on Thursday evening for the Vassar College Women's Track and Field team.

Schoenegge raced to a 18th place finish out of 45 total finishers and was just one of two total Division III runners in a field full of Power Five Division I competitors. Schoenegge crossed the finish line with a time of 4:19.74 which was just three-tenths of a second off of her career-best time 

Vassar will return to the Penn Relays tomorrow as junior Jahmilia Dennis will compete in the triple jump at 4:00 p.m.
