Troy, NY – Vassar College junior Iris Li (Palo Alto, CA) has been named the Liberty League Singles Performer of the Week in Women's Tennis it was announced Monday afternoon. Monday's honor is the third singles award of the season for Li.
 
Li continued a standout season for the Brewers with second singles victories against #45 Skidmore and #37 Union last week. Against the Thoroughbreds, Li outlasted her opponent at the second slot by scores of 4-6, 7-5, 10-5. Li finished off the week with a 6-4, 6-4 victory against the Garnet Chargers in a 7-0 victory for the Brewers.
 
With two wins last week, Li has won nine straight singles decisions and leads the Brewers with an 11-1 singles record this spring.
 
At 9-5 overall and 5-1 in Liberty League play, Vassar returns to action on Friday when it plays host to RPI.
