Dennis, Nyhan Victorious for Women's Track and Field at Blue and Orange Invite

Three register AARTFC marks in the 800 meters, Distance Medley relay posts AARTC qualiftying time

Utica, NY - Junior Jahmilia Dennis was victorious in the triple jump and sophomore Adelaide Nyhan earned a first place finish in the 800 meters as the Vassar College Women's Track and Field team posted multiple personal-best times at the Blue and Orange Invite at Utica University.

5000 Meters

Sophomore Cayley Swaim scored a fourth place finish with a time of 19:00.96.

60 Meter Hurdles

Senior Faye Stevens earned a 15th place finish in 9.86 followed by junior Freja Niklasson in 17th place with a time of 9.95.
First year Elana Pukel scored a top-30 finish in 10.26 along with junior Catherine Peacock posting a time of 10.80 and junior Abbe Colgan with a personal-best time of 12.14.

60 Meters

First year Lainie D'Auria finished 24th overall with a time of 8.36 followed by senior Traci Francis in 25th in 8.38 and junior Jamie Eu in 26th in 8.39.
Senior Lily Falkowski earned a top-40 finish with a time of 8.62 along with first year Mason Wilkins-Lanier posting a time of 8.73.
Junior Sydney Passley-Harris crossed the finish line in 8.90 while senior Laura Wong posted a time of 8.95 and first year Sophia Moreau earned a personal-best mark of 9.22.

Mile

Sophomore Acadia Helfand secured a 14th place finish with a new personal-best time of 5:23.82.

400 Meters

First year Skylar Spiro tallied a 16th place finish in 1:04.81 followed by classmate Caroline Thelen in 19th with a time of 1:04.98.
Junior Maddie Busam finished in the top-30 with a mark of 1:08.33.

800 Meters

Vassar took the top three spots in the 800 meters as Nyhan earned a first place finish with an AARTFC and personal-best time of 2:20.82.
Senior Sophia Henderson was second with a time of 2:21.53 followed closely by junior Norah Reade in third in 2:21.65.
First year Lizzie Lowe posted an eighth place finish in 2:23.02 along with sophomore Maya Carey finishing in the top-40 with a time of 2:42.69.

200 Meters

First year Lianna Camille secured a top-30 finish with a time of 28.07 followed by D'Auria in 31st in 28.22.
Thelen earned a top-40 finish with a mark of 28.33 along with Spiro crossing the finish line in 28.92.
Wong posted a time of 29.37 while Falkowski recorded a time of 30.45 and sophomore Jillian Benfante tallied a mark of 31.40.

3000 Meters

First year Sophia Marchioli was 18th overall with a time of 10:51.68 while first year Chloe Bibula was 24th overall in 11:00.96.
First year Hadley Snell scored a 25th place finish in a season-best 11:03.87 followed by Helfand in 26th in 11:05.93.

Distance Medley

The relay of Nyhan, Lowe, Reade and first year Sarah France were victorious with an AARTFC qualifying time of 12:32.79.

Long Jump

Stevens finished 17th overall with a leap of 4.92 meters along with Passley-Harris scoring a top-30 finish at 4.70 meters.
Colgan registered a leap of 3.73 meters while D'Auria also competed for Vassar.
