TROY, NY - First year Abigail Sasson opened action for the Vassar College Women's Track and Field team at the RPI Under the Lights Invite on Thursday in the first four events of the pentathlon. Sasson currently sits in fourth place with 1808 points.

Sasson began the day with a fifth place finish in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 18.37 and finished tied for the top spot in the high jump with a mark of 1.40 meters. The first year recorded a fourth place finish in the shot put with a toss of 7.35 meters and closed the day with a fifth place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 29.92.

Vassar will continue action at the RPI Under the Lights Invite tomorrow with events beginning at 3:00 p.m.
