VIRGINIA BEACH, VA - Vassar College Women's Track and Field first year Haley Schoenegge posted a new school record time of 4:57.32 in the 1 Mile Run on Friday afternoon as Schoenegge qualified for the finals at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.

Schoenegge broke the five minute mark in the mile for the second straight meet as she recorded a career-best mark in the first heat. The first year scored a sixth place finish overall and earned a spot in the finals tomorrow with the second fastest non-automatic qualifying time at 4:57.32.

Tomorrow's finals will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will be live streamed on NCAA.com along with the live results being posted at Leone Timing.
