Women's Track and Field Competes at AARTFC Championships, Tufts Final Qualifier

Schoenegge sets school record in 3000-meters

MEDFORD, MA - The Vassar College Women's Track and Field team competed in two meets on Saturday as sophomore Jahmilia Dennis competed in the triple jump at the AARTFC Championships at Nazareth while first years Norah Reade and Haley Schoenegge ran at the Tufts Final Qualifier.

Triple Jump
  • Dennis finished 12th in the triple jump at the AARTFC Championships with a jump of 11.14 meters.
3000-Meters
  • Schoenegge broke the school record in the 3000-meters as the first year finished fifth overall with a time of 9:53.86 at the Tufts Final Qualifier.
Mile
  • Reade posted a personal-best time of 5:12.62 to score a ninth place finish in the mile at the Tufts Final Qualifier.
UP NEXT
  • Vassar will wait to see the selections for the NCAA Indoor Championships for next weekend in Virginia Beach.
