Troy, NY - The Liberty League announced its All-League selections for Women's Volleyball on Tuesday morning as Vassar College Women's Volleyball sophomore outside hitter
Maura McAusland garnered Second Team honors for the second consecutive season.
McAusland put together another strong season in 2024 as the sophomore led the team in kills with 219 while ranking fifth in the Liberty League in kills per set at 3.00. McAusland finished the season with 32 aces and 188 digs, both ranking second on the squad, along with ranking fourth on the team in total blocks with 32.
McAusland recorded an impressive season in her first season as a Brewer as she led the team in service aces with 45 while ranking second on the squad in kills with 277. McAusland tallied 152 digs, good for fifth on the team, and also recorded 30 blocks which was tied for fourth on the team. McAusland's 45 aces was seventh in the conference while her 277 kills was seventh-best in the Liberty League. McAusland was tabbed the Liberty League Rookie of the Week three times in her first year campaign while being named the Liberty League Performer of the Week once.
Vassar closed the 2024 season at 8-15 overall and 3-5 in Liberty League play.
