Maura McAusland were all recognized for being standouts both on the field and in the classroom.
Kogan, a Computer and Cognitive Science major, lifted a career-best 296 digs along with a career-high 31 aces in her senior campaign at libero. She recorded a season-best 19 digs twice this season and lifted double-digit digs in 17 total matches in 2025. Kogan is a three-time Liberty League All-Academic team selection and closes her Vassar career with 842 digs and 85 service aces.
Gutierrez, a Neuroscience and Spanish major, posted a strong senior season as she buried a career-high 105 kills along with a career-best 55 total blocks for the Brewers. Gutierrez set the new program record in total blocks in a single match with 10 against Union on October 18. Gutierrez finishes her career ranked in the top-10 in blocks per set with 0.53 and totaled 348 kills and 168 total blocks in her four-year career. Gutierrez is a three-time Liberty League All-Academic team honoree.
Kaplan, a Media Studies and Psychology major, recorded new career-highs in her junior season as Kaplan totaled a career-high 307 kills along with a career-best 203 digs. The junior landed a career-best eight aces against Mount Holyoke while garnering double-digit kills in 19 matches. Kaplan was named an All-Liberty League First Team selection in 2023 and has been named to the Liberty League All-Academic team twice.
McAusland, a Mathematics major, put together a record-breaking season in 2025 as she was named the program's seventh AVCA All-American honor and was the first to earn the national award since Devan Gallagher in 2018. McAusland was also tabbed an AVCA All-Region III selection while garnering her third straight All-Liberty League honor with this being her first All-Liberty League First Team selection. She has also been named to the Liberty League All-Academic team twice.
The junior closed the 2025 season with a career-best 404 kills, ranking eighth all-time in a single season in Vassar program history. She also finished the season averaging 4.54 kills per set, which is the second highest mark in program history and also ranks third all-time in hitting percentage in a single season at .329.The junior set new career-highs in kills (404) and digs (240) while recording 44 aces and 24 total blocks to finish with a career-best 462.5 points and 5.20 points per set. Following her junior year, McAusland currently sits sixth all-time in attack percentage (.249) and third in kills per set (3.47) in Vassar program history for her career.
Vassar finished the 2025 season with a 19-8 overall record, which is the most victories since 2017, and 4-4 in Liberty League play to finish fifth to qualify for the First Round of the Liberty League Championship.
