WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Metropolitan Writers Basketball Association announced its postseason selections on Monday morning as senior
Eliza Srinivasan was tabbed to Third Team All-Met. This comes after the senior was named First Team All-Liberty League and the Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season.
A senior guard and captain, Srinivasan started in all 27 games this season and held the conference lead in assists with 138 and finished second in the conference in steals with 44. Srinivasan finished the 2022-23 season averaging 7.8 points, 5.1 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals per contest.
Srinivasan, who named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2021-22, has played in 77 games during her three years and has started 52 of them. Srinivasan is averaging 5.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game in her career. The three-time Liberty League All-Academic team and Academic All-District selection is sixth in program history in assists (255) and career assists per game (3.3) along with sitting fifth in assists per game in a season (5.1).
