TROY, N.Y. - Three Vassar College Women's Basketball student-athletes earned All-Liberty League honors today, with senior
Eliza Srinivasan tabbed with first team honors and was also named the Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season. Senior
Alex Lee and sophomore
Julia Harvey were both selected to the second team.
A senior guard and captain, Srinivasan started in all 27 games this season and holds the conference lead in assists with 138 and is second in the conference in steals with 44. Srinivasan finished the 2022-23 season averaging 7.8 points, 5.1 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals per contest.
Srinivasan, who named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2021-22, has played in 77 games during her three years and has started 52 of them. Srinivasan is averaging 5.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game in her career. The three-time Liberty League All-Academic team and Academic All-District selection is sixth in program history in assists (255) and career assists per game (3.3) along with sitting fifth in assists per game in a season (5.1).
Lee, a senior guard and captain, started all 27 games this season and was the team's leading scorer with 11.4 points per game with a team-high 112 field goals made. She ranked second on the team in three-pointers made with 34 and added 3.9 rebounds per game and was second on the team in assists with 41.
A three-time Liberty League All-Academic team selection, Lee finished her career averaging 7.4 points per game in 73 games played with 45 of those being starts. Lee recorded 3.3 boards per contest along with 83 assists and 70 steals in the senior's three year career.
A sophomore guard, Harvey started in all 25 games played this season and was the top three-point shooter on the team with 43 makes. Harvey finished the season averaging 10.1 points per game which was second on the team and finished third on the squad in rebounds per game at 4.3. The sophomore was named the Liberty League Performer of the Week on February 20th after a career-high 27 points in the win over #10 Ithaca on February 18th. Harvey has started all 52 games in her Brewers career and is averaging 10.9 points per game in her two years.
Vassar's season concluded with a 18-9 overall record and a 14-4 record in Liberty League action.
