Troy, NY – Vassar College rookie goalkeeper Bella Stevens (Ann Arbor, MI) collected her first career Liberty League Weekly Award on Monday when she was named the conference's Rookie of the Week in Women's Soccer.
 
Making her first career start in goal for the Brewers on Saturday afternoon, Stevens held Skidmore to just a single tally as the Brewers scored their first conference win of the season. Stevens turned aside three shots in the game, including two after the Thoroughbreds pulled to within a goal, to earn the victory.
 
At 6-2-2 overall and 1-0-2 in Liberty League play, Vassar will play its final non-conference game of the season on Wednesday when it travels to Russell Sage. Kick-off with the Gators at the ACP Athletic Complex in Albany, NY is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
